It’s an ok hotel, but don’t expect to much.

Clean and fresh rooms. Staff was nice and helpdul. Breakfast was good.

It`s pretty rund down on the outside. And there is a smell of old house on the inside. The restaurant Bistro Savoy is on every picture of the hotel, but it’s closed permanently.

Wonderful

Helpful staf with good advice about renting a bike (the bicycle lanes in Åland are very good). The room was larger and more comfortable then expected, and the breakfast was very good.

Staff were friendly and multilingual. Public areas were very clean and comfortable. Evening sauna was free to guests. The breakfast spread was excellent, with the exception of the juice machine.

Ventilation was surprisingly poor, both in my room and in the dressing room of the sauna. With my room being on the top floor and facing west, it got warm during the afternoon and did not cool off well at night, despite the window being open wide. My other disappointment was the "juice" machine at the breakfast, which dispensed rather dilute drinks that seemed to be from concentrates. When everything else at breakfast was real, this seemed out of place and a questionable "saving".

Nice room, enough choice for breakfast, has all that we needed for those days, nice located,

I was very grateful for the service of getting me a cab for traveling to the hotel. Nice and clean room, it has everything you need.

all was just fine. we had some bags and time before the cab came again and the lobby was unmanned from 12 till 15.00 (the staff mentioned that) my friend wasnt able to walk far, we carried with us, since it wasnt very heavy.

The hotel had no heating (apparently because only open during summer, but nightscand mornings were already chilly.

While I was there the hotel reception was unmanned. Breakfast was served near by at Pommern Hotel. It worked out well, everyone was super friendly.

Great location, near to shops and restaurants

- Hotel has really good location as many shops and restaurants are in short walking distance as well the seaside. - Breakfast was good and nicely set out & enough to select from. - Personnel was very friendly and helpful and what ever you needed, they took care of that in the reception. - Rooms were clean and renovated nicely.

Rooms on street side were really, really warm as the sun was shining there almost the whole day. The curtains should be that kind to block the sun and also light. And the fan is not enough to keep the room even closer to comfortable. It was a bit like sauna feeling, when you are still warming the sauna. Also the air got really thick in the room as the air was not moving anywhere (any central ventilation?). Window you could not keep open before very late in the evening, so that was not option earlier. At weekends, as we are early birds, it would be nice to get breakfast a bit earlier than just 7:30 onwards but that was not a big issue :). It would have been nice to have outside terrace open, as drinks and refreshments were sold in the reception even that the Bistro was not open. Really nice summer weather, you just would like to sit outside after a long day driving around the main island.

A basic hotel with a good breakfast

A basic hotel with everything you need for a short stay. The building is a bit worn-off, and at the winter season it's unmanned, but I've nothing to complain, especially with their low price. The breakfast included a good selection of local products.

We arrived on a late ferry checking in only around midnight, but that was no problem. The reception staff were very helpful throughout our stay. We enjoyed the breakfast with a nice range of options, also gluten-free items. The location was excellent for exploring Mariehamn on foot.

The property was rather outdated and so was the room. The air conditioning unit in the room made a lot of noise, and we didn't manage to switch it off - earplugs came in handy.
